Bollywood star Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped a terrifying ordeal on Sunday evening, October 18, 2026, after a shooting incident targeted his vehicle in Mumbai’s Juhu suburb. The actor was leaving a football ground near Pushpa Park when three to four rounds were fired at his car. Mumbai Police have confirmed that while Tiger Shroff is completely safe and sustained no injuries, his driver was less fortunate, suffering a bullet wound to his left hand. The driver is currently receiving medical care at Nanavati Hospital.
The incident has triggered a massive investigation, with the Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch cordoning off the area to collect evidence. Authorities are actively reviewing CCTV footage to identify the shooter, especially as a video allegedly capturing the attack has already begun circulating online. While reports suggest the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the targeted firing, law enforcement officials have noted that this claim has not yet been independently verified.
High-level officials have stepped in to oversee the case, with Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar labeling the attack as an unfortunate event and promising that no culprits will be spared. Minister Shelar confirmed he is in direct contact with Mumbai Police Commissioner Deven Bharti and Joint Commissioner of Police Manoj Sharma, the latter of whom personally arrived at the scene to monitor the situation. The Juhu Police Station is currently leading the ongoing inquiry to track down the unidentified perpetrators.
