Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims responsibility for targeted shooting at Tiger Shroff in Mumbai

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped a terrifying targeted attack on Sunday, October 18, 2026, when gunfire erupted near a football facility in Mumbai’s Juhu area.

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped a terrifying targeted attack on Sunday, October 18, 2026, when gunfire erupted near a football facility in Mumbai’s Juhu area. As the actor was departing the venue, three to four rounds were fired at his BMW vehicle near Pushpa Park. While Shroff remained physically unharmed, the incident left two people injured; the actor’s driver, Firdaus, sustained a bullet wound to his right hand, and a passerby suffered an injury to their left hand. Both victims were immediately rushed to Nanavati Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Security footage and audio clips circulating online reveal the chilling nature of the assault, showing three assailants on a motorcycle firing at least four shots. Shortly after the incident, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack via social media. Anil Pandit, an overseas-based associate of the gang, along with Harman Sandhu, issued a statement alleging that the strike was a direct consequence of Shroff ignoring previous warnings regarding his professional association with Salman Khan. The group issued further threats, warning that other members of the Hindi film industry would face similar consequences if they continued to work with Khan or failed to comply with their demands.

In response to the brazen attack, the Mumbai Police have launched a massive investigation, with Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirming that 12 to 15 specialized teams are currently working to track down the suspects. The crime scene has been cordoned off as authorities verify the authenticity of the social media claims. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has personally intervened, ordering the Mumbai Police Commissioner to conduct an expedited inquiry and ensure strict legal action against those responsible. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar is in direct contact with the Shroff family to monitor the security situation. This violent incident has sent shockwaves through the industry, drawing immediate comparisons to the 2024 murder of Baba Siddique, for which the Bishnoi gang also claimed responsibility.
