Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff had a harrowing Sunday evening after being targeted in a shooting incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area. The incident occurred around 7:00 PM on October 18, 2026, near Pushpa Park, shortly after the actor had finished a football match. According to reports, three unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired three to four rounds at the actor’s vehicle. While Tiger Shroff escaped the attack physically unharmed, the assault left three people injured, including his driver, Firdaus, who sustained a gunshot wound to his left arm and was rushed to Nanavati Hospital. An auto-rickshaw driver and a blogger named Umesh Chavan also sustained injuries during the attack.
In a concerning development, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has purportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting via social media. The post specifically named individuals Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, alleging that the actor was targeted due to his professional association with Salman Khan. This violent episode has sent shockwaves through the industry, marking the second celebrity-linked firing in Juhu this year, following a similar attack on director Rohit Shetty’s residence back in February.
Responding to the security breach, the Mumbai Police have launched a massive investigation under the coordination of DCP Mohit Garg. Authorities have deployed 12 to 15 specialized teams, including the Crime Branch, to track down the assailants. Police have already taken one suspect into custody in Santacruz for questioning, while forensic experts continue to comb the scene for evidence.
