Bollywood stars join the Ambani family for a special Devi Shakti celebration

The Ambani family hosted a star-studded evening this past Saturday to honor ‘Devi Shakti’ ahead of the upcoming Navratri festivities. The event served a dual purpose, as it also marked the first anniversary of Swadesh Eros, a premier destination dedicated to preserving and celebrating India’s rich artisanal heritage. Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani played host to the gala, which saw the entire family in attendance, including Mukesh Ambani, their sons Akash and Anant, and daughters-in-law Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant.

Nita Ambani looked radiant in a magenta-pink silk saree featuring intricate gold zari work, paired with statement jewelry. Mukesh Ambani complemented her look in a classic black bandhgala, complete with a coordinated pink pocket square. The evening saw a heavy turnout of Bollywood’s finest, with stars like Ranveer Singh, Kriti Sanon, Aamir Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Shanaya Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Gauri Khan, and designer Manish Malhotra joining the celebrations. The attendees fully embraced the ethnic dress code, showcasing the beauty of traditional Indian textiles and intricate embroidery.

Beyond the glamour, the event was a tribute to the artisans who keep India’s traditional art forms alive. Guests were treated to live demonstrations of Kalighat painting, Kalamkari, and Ashavali weaving, offering a rare glimpse into the precision and patience required for these ancient crafts. A special limited-edition Kalamkari demonstration served as a highlight of the showcase. By blending the spiritual significance of Navratri with the country’s diverse craft legacy, Swadesh Eros reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to promoting India’s artistic identity and supporting the craftsmen who have carried these traditions through generations.
