Arijit Singh celebrates as his song Phir Se enters the Grammy consideration list

Arijit Singh is officially on the road to the Grammys.

Arijit Singh is officially on the road to the Grammys. The playback sensation recently took to Instagram to share his excitement after his soulful track ‘Phir Se’ from the film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ was submitted for consideration at the 69th Grammy Awards. The song is currently vying for a spot in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category. Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to his legion of fans for their constant support, the singer shared the submission details on his social media handle, thanking them for all the love they have showered on the project.

It is not just ‘Phir Se’ that is making waves; the entire soundtrack of the Ranveer Singh-starrer has been submitted for consideration across multiple prestigious categories by T-Series and B62 Studios. The film’s music, composed by the talented Shashwat Sachdev, is looking to make a global mark. Among the other notable submissions, ‘Aari Aari’—featuring an eclectic mix of artists including Bombay Rockers, Jasmine Sandlas, and Khan Saab—has been put forward for the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category.

The Grammy campaign for the film is quite extensive, covering a wide range of musical genres. ‘Jaan Se Guzarte Hai’ and ‘Kanhaiyya’ are being considered for Best Global Music Performance, while ‘Jaiye Sajana’ has been submitted for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The list continues with ‘Destiny – Mann Atkeya’ in the Best Rap Performance category, ‘Vaari Jaavan’ for Best Dance/Electronic Recording, and ‘Hum Pyaar Karne Wale’ for Best Remixed Recording.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has already garnered significant attention for its box-office performance, and now its music is taking the spotlight on the international stage. The spy thriller, which features a powerhouse cast including Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Danish Pandor, has clearly struck a chord with audiences. While these submissions are an exciting milestone for the team, it is important to note that the official nominees for the 69th Annual Grammy Awards, set to take place in 2027, have yet to be announced.
