Bollywood star Tiger Shroff is recovering after being caught in a terrifying firing incident near a football club in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening. While the actor miraculously escaped any direct gunshot wounds, he sustained minor injuries to his shoulder, chest, and right arm, caused by flying glass shards and gunpowder. The incident occurred around 7 pm as unidentified assailants opened fire, hitting the actor’s driver in the process. Both Tiger and his mother, Ayesha Shroff, were reportedly left shaken by the ordeal.
Following the news, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde made a late-night visit to the Shroff residence to check on the actor’s health. Photographs from the meeting show a bandaged Tiger Shroff interacting with the Deputy CM, who arrived to offer the state government’s full support. Speaking to the press afterward, Shinde condemned the violence, noting that five rounds were fired during the attack. He vowed that the government would not tolerate such acts of hooliganism, drawing parallels to the gang wars of the 90s that were previously brought under control by the Mumbai Police.
The Juhu Police have officially registered the case and are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the motive behind the shooting and the identities of the perpetrators. As news of the incident spread, the actor’s friend and colleague Disha Patani was also spotted arriving at his home to offer her support. While the police continue to gather evidence and track down those responsible, the incident has sparked widespread concern regarding the safety of public figures in the city. Further updates on the investigation are expected as authorities work to piece together the details of the attack.
