The legal proceedings surrounding the alarming firing incident involving Bollywood star Tiger Shroff have intensified. On Thursday, October 29, 2026, a special MCOCA court in Mumbai remanded all 11 accused individuals to police custody until November 6. Special Judge Satyanarayan Ramjivan Navandar issued the order after the Mumbai Crime Branch requested a 10-day remand to dig deeper into what authorities are calling a significant organized crime conspiracy.
The 11 suspects, which include two women, have been identified as Rehan R, Phool Singh, Ritik Kumar, Kunal, Sumit, Babita, Radha, Ankit, Pranjal, Sameer, and Jatin. During the hearing, the defense team raised concerns regarding the medical condition of the ninth accused, who reportedly has only one functional kidney. Meanwhile, the prosecution pushed for the remand by highlighting the criminal history of at least six of the suspects, citing financial motives and an alleged power play for gang dominance. Under the MCOCA provisions, investigators now have up to 180 days to file a formal chargesheet.
The incident, which took place in Mumbai’s Juhu area on October 18, left Tiger Shroff’s driver and a vlogger injured. While the actor recorded a statement the following day claiming he had received no prior threats, investigators believe this was the third attempt on his life. Reports suggest that the shooters—Rehan, Ritik, and Kunal—had been tracking the star for 10 days leading up to the attack. The Crime Branch is currently investigating potential ties between these suspects and Anil Pandit, a wanted operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who allegedly claimed responsibility for the hit on social media.
Authorities have conducted a widespread operation to apprehend the group, with three suspects arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, and the remaining eight detained across Delhi and Haryana. As the investigation progresses, the Mumbai Crime Branch continues to look into Pandit’s history, who is already named in multiple chargesheets across Haryana and Punjab.
