After years of maintaining a low profile and staying strictly away from the digital noise, Saif Ali Khan has finally taken the plunge into the world of Instagram. The Nawab of Pataudi, who has long been a rare sight on social media, officially joined the platform this week, much to the delight of his legion of fans. While the actor has frequently appeared in the candid snapshots shared by his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, he now has a digital home of his own, and followers are already keeping a close watch on his activity.
In a move that is as charming as it is expected, Saif chose his wife, Kareena, as the very first person he followed on the platform. The gesture was quickly reciprocated, with Kareena following him back, while his sister, Soha Ali Khan, also jumped on the bandwagon to join his growing list of followers. The account, which has already sparked significant buzz, kicked off with a nod to his royal heritage, as the actor shared an intriguing first post featuring the iconic Pataudi Library.
Fans wasted no time flooding the comments section with warm welcomes, with some calling him the “king” and others playfully labeling him the “oldest member of Gen Z” to finally join the app. Beyond his social media debut, Saif continues to make waves on the professional front. He was recently seen in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan, a project that marked his highly-anticipated reunion with Akshay Kumar. The duo, who last shared the screen in the 2008 film Tashan, brought their classic chemistry back to the big screen in the film produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films.
