Nushrratt Bharuccha has finally checked in with her fans, sharing her first personal social media update since suffering a serious spinal fracture during a recent trip to Bali. The actress, who was flown back to Mumbai via air ambulance for specialized medical care, took to Instagram on Saturday to offer a glimpse into her recovery journey. She posted a poignant story featuring an empty reclining wheelchair positioned by a window, capturing the beauty of a sunset outside.
Reflecting on the life-altering incident, Nushrratt penned a heartfelt message alongside the image. She wrote, “Been chasing sunsets forever, And just like that.. my view changed. But, Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.” This marks the first time the star has spoken out since news of her accident surfaced earlier this month. The actress had originally traveled to Bali for a work-cum-holiday trip, which took a distressing turn when she sustained the injury that required immediate hospital observation and subsequent emergency transport back to India.
Following the accident, her team had issued a formal statement confirming that the actress was under medical supervision and would require surgery to address the fracture. They emphasized that her health remained the top priority and requested that the public respect her privacy while she focuses on her recovery. Due to the nature of the injury and the necessary surgery, the actress is expected to take a break from her professional commitments for the coming weeks. Nushrratt was most recently seen on screen in the film Ufff Yeh Siyapaa, directed by G. Ashok.
