The wait is finally over for fans of Bhuvan Bam as the beloved creator gears up to bring back his flagship web series, Dhindora. After a five-year hiatus, the show is returning for a second season, promising a Bollywood-style comedy-drama filled with the signature humour and chaotic energy that made the first outing a landmark success in Indian creator-led storytelling. Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam, the new season is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on November 20.
This time around, Titu Mama finds himself in hot water with an Rs 11 crore loss looming over him and strained family dynamics to navigate. In true Titu Mama fashion, his attempt to reconcile with his in-laws quickly spirals into a full-blown spectacle. The upcoming season features a riotous mix of sasural shenanigans and the return of fan-favourite characters, including Babloo ji, Janki, Sameer, and Bancho. Bhuvan Bam continues to showcase his incredible versatility by portraying nine different characters throughout the eight-episode series.
Reflecting on the move to a larger streaming platform, Bhuvan Bam expressed his excitement about bringing the relatable world of Dhindora to a wider audience while maintaining the cultural nuances that fans love. Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India, praised Bhuvan’s unique storytelling instinct and his ability to balance heart, irreverence, and comedy. The platform is positioning the show as a unique addition to their slate, aiming to capture the authentic BB Ki Vines style that has made the franchise a cult favourite over the years.
