Bollywood’s favorite real-life couple, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, are set to bring their off-screen chemistry to the big screen once again. The duo officially announced their upcoming project, a romantic thriller titled ‘Tu Hai Meri Kiran,’ which is slated for a theatrical release on October 23, 2026. Sonakshi shared the first look poster on social media, immediately sparking curiosity with the haunting tagline, “Where would you draw the line between LOVE and OBSESSION?”
The film’s promotional material leans heavily into a tense, suspenseful aesthetic, with the subtitle “She found a connection, he found an obsession” hinting at a dark and gripping narrative. While the makers are keeping the specific plot details under wraps for now, the poster provides a moody first glimpse of the two leads, suggesting that this will be a significant departure from their previous lighter roles. This marks the couple’s first film collaboration since their wedding in 2024, following their earlier appearance together in the 2022 comedy ‘Double XL’.
‘Tu Hai Meri Kiran’ is written and directed by Karan Rawal and is being produced by Vishal Rana under the banner of Echelon Productions. As of now, the makers have not released further information regarding the supporting cast or additional production details, leaving fans eager for more updates. With the project officially on the calendar for 2026, the industry is already watching closely to see how this real-life pair translates their bond into a high-stakes thriller.
