The Bigg Boss 20 house has found its latest breakout star in singer Qazi Touqeer, whose lively personality and entertaining stint have captured the hearts of viewers across the nation. For his dedicated fanbase, who first championed his talent on Fame Gurukul over two decades ago, seeing Qazi back in the spotlight is nothing short of a dream comeback. After nearly twenty years away from the mainstream media glare, the singer is finally reclaiming his space in the industry.
This weekend, the excitement reached a new high when filmmaker Rohit Shetty stepped in to host the Weekend Ka Vaar episode in place of Salman Khan. Known for his keen eye for talent, Shetty was visibly impressed by Qazi’s journey and his infectious energy on the show. The director didn’t hold back his appreciation, telling the contestant, “Aapka time agaya hai. You will start getting solo albums and immense love once you step out. I am saying this on national television.”
The interaction turned emotional when Qazi seized the moment to ask the filmmaker if there might be a future collaboration on the cards. Staying true to his word, Rohit Shetty made a heartfelt promise to include the singer in his future cinematic ventures. “I am saying this on national television. While Golmaal is a comedy franchise, if I have a film with a romantic track, I will give it to you. You will do the playback,” the director assured, leaving a teary-eyed Qazi overwhelmed by the gesture.
Rohit Shetty’s appearance as a guest host is a familiar sight for Bigg Boss loyalists, as the filmmaker has frequently stepped in for Salman Khan during past seasons. His involvement, which included notable interactions with contestants like Gaurav Khanna and Farrhana Bhatt in previous years, continues to be a highlight for fans of the reality show. With a golden ticket to a potential Bollywood playback career now on the table, all eyes are on Qazi to see how he navigates his renewed path to stardom.
