The sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 recently turned into a hub of festive energy as the cast of the highly anticipated mythological epic Ramayana: Part One graced the show. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravi Dubey appeared alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan to celebrate the upcoming festival. The episode took a nostalgic turn when Big B shared a hilarious childhood memory about his competitive spirit during Diwali. The veteran actor revealed that as a young boy, he was obsessed with outdoing his neighbors by lighting the loudest firecrackers possible, a confession that left the star-studded cast in fits of laughter.
Beyond the lighthearted banter, the conversation turned towards the gravity of the upcoming film. Ranbir Kapoor, who steps into the iconic role of Lord Rama, spoke candidly about the profound responsibility of portraying such a legendary figure. He emphasized that the character’s true strength lies not in his prowess with a bow, but in his immense capacity for forgiveness. The episode also featured meaningful moments, including Amitabh Bachchan honoring Lord Hanuman and leading the studio audience in chants, setting a spiritual tone for the festive special.
Produced by Prime Focus Studios, DNEG, and Monster Mind Creations, the film is already generating massive buzz ahead of its scheduled worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026. Fans can catch the full interaction during the KBC 18 Diwali special, which is set to air on October 29 and 30, 2026, at 9 PM IST on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV. With the first part of the epic saga arriving soon, audiences can also look forward to the continuation of the series, as the production team has already confirmed that a second installment is planned for a Diwali 2027 release.
