According to the actress, the project has successfully set a new benchmark for Hindi cinema by proving that viewers are now craving raw authenticity over formulaic storytelling.
Reflecting on the film’s massive impact, Nimrat shared that the success of Dhurandhar has altered the general perception of spy films in Bollywood. She noted that when a story is executed to its maximum potential, it ceases to be just another entry in the genre and instead becomes a standard-bearer for quality. Nimrat emphasized that because audiences have now tasted such a high level of authenticity, future filmmakers will be pressured to either match or exceed that standard, or risk failing to capture the audience’s interest.
