According to Nimrat, the movie’s commitment to authentic storytelling has moved the goalposts for future filmmakers, forcing the industry to step up its game.
In a recent conversation, Nimrat reflected on how the Ranveer Singh-starrer has changed audience expectations. She noted that when a story is executed to its maximum potential with such raw authenticity, it stops being labeled as just another spy flick and earns a status of its own. “When something is done so well, the bar is raised. Now, everything better be at par or better than that, or else, let’s not attempt it,” she remarked, adding that Dhurandhar has effectively become a synonym for quality and grounded storytelling.
